June 1, 2010 - Churchill Yacht Partners and Captain Michael Witters of M/Y Trilogy have created the following scenic and entertaining 7-day charter itinerary aboard M/Y Trilogy this summer in the beautiful Great Lakes.

M/Y Trilogy is a 90' Stephens which went through a total refit in 2007.  She can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins.  M/Y Trilogy features two full-beam cabins, master and VIP, each with private bath and jacuzzi tub.  Two additional guest staterooms have twin berths and ensuite heads with showers.  In addition to the usual toys, Trilogy tows a 31' Fountain Fishing tender, which is perfect for fishing in Lake Michigan and around Mackinaw Island.

Trilogy Great Lakes Itinerary

Distances are 2 – 3 hours cruising between stops

Day 1:  If flying in on a commercial flight:

Arrive Traverse City, Michigan, where your Captain will meet you at the airport and escort you to the city docks where you will board Trilogy.   Settle in and relax. After lunch, cruise to the quaint antique fishing village of Northport on the western arm of the Leelanau Peninsula.

Day 2:

Cruise to Charlevoix, Michigan where you can enjoy the shops, art galleries and restaurants. Afterwards, take a leisurely ride down Lake Charlevoix to Boyne City, enjoying water skiing or tubing along the way. The golfers will have an opportunity to hit the links at Boyne Highlands or any of the other nearby golf courses.

Day 3:

Leave Charlevoix for a short cruise to Bay Harbor, a quaint man-made Community (similar to Vail, CO), known for its upscale shopping, homes, and restaurants. Equestrian riding and golf are both available here.

Day 4

Cruise to the historic resort town of Harbor Springs (somewhat comparable to Nantucket), long time summer home to some of Michigan’s wealthiest families.

Day 5 & 6: Leave Harbor Springs and proceed north. You might decide to head over to

St. James Harbor on Beaver Island and spend some time there, or continue under the

Mackinaw Straits Bridge to historic Mackinaw Island. There are no cars, transportation is

provided only by bicycle, horseback or horse-drawn carriage. You can cycle the eight mile

circumference of the island, enjoy touring the historic two forts, and visit the town’s many artisan shops. A visit to the Grand Hotel, boasting the longest outdoor open air porch in the world, is always a delight.

Day 7: Take a picturesque excursion through the Cheneaux Islands. Spend the night at

a remote island anchorage, or return to Mackinaw City for your departure from Pellston, a short ride from the Mackinaw City Marina.

If Arriving by private jet one can fly into Mackinaw and finish up in Leland

M/Y Trilogy and her fabulous captain and crew are available for charter at a weekly rate of $29,500 plus expenses.  To see more photos and information on M/Y Trilogy click here.
